Greetings Frontliner’s! I trust and believe that this “Pathway’s” selah moment will be one that helps to lift you and to bring you to that place where you can glean much revelation from the Word!
I desire to share some thoughts with you from Psalm 103: 1-5.
There is such a beautiful flow not only of words, but of the knowledge and intimacy that David had with and of, the Lord. He begins his psalm with deep heartfelt worship:
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and ALL that is within me, bless His holy name.”
The soul, the very innermost place of our emotions, becomes pure through our true worship of our Heavenly Father. Jesus, when he was talking to the Samaritan woman at Jacobs well, said these words:
“You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. Yet the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father seeks such to worship Him.
It is a sad reality, that even Spirit filled believers can get into a state of selling themselves out to the way of worship that the Samaritan woman had…… you see if we do not pursue that place of intimacy with our Father, we will never know Him and, for our soul to delight in Him, we must know that we are accepted “in the beloved”( Jesus )Verse 2:
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all of His benefits ( here David goes on and lists some of these )
- Who forgives all your iniquities
- Who heals all your diseases
- Who redeems your life from the pit
- Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies
- Who satisfies your mouth with good things
Why does God do all these amazing things for us?
So that your youth is renewed like the eagles!!! How good is our God!!
Church, I could go on and take you further in on these verses, but the whole idea of Pathways is that you will begin to walk them out for yourselves … and then come back with great revelation and miraculous happenings to share with us all.
Be blessed, and learn, during these days of being home-bound, to wait, listen and hear the beautiful voice of our wonderful Saviour and Lord.
