The God of Passionate Love
Greetings my friends, I trust you are in good health both physically and spiritually!
I woke up at 3am this morning with a whole lot of thoughts going on in my mind.
After tossing and turning, I finally gave up trying to get back to sleep and gave myself to the flow of the Holy Spirit within me.
Holy Spirit took me back to the “beginning” of creation; to a place that was buzzing with joy, laughter and passionate love.
You see, this whole deal is about the Father's love and His deep desire to bring forth a bride that is worthy of His Son Jesus.
So, back to the beginning! If you are a person who is not afraid to use your God given imagination, I would so love it if you would pause and allow yourself the time to quietly meditate on this amazing time in creation, that will never be surpassed.
‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters’ Genesis 1:1
Now, okay, so there’s not much sign of passion and joy there, but wait! There's more!
Then God spoke!
Now we need to understand that when God speaks, all, and I mean all, of creation trembles at His word!
Then God said “Let there be light” (the Hebrew word here for light is “owr” pronounced “ore”, and means illumination and laughter!!)
Creation was filled with great joy and laughter and passionate love!!!
“And God saw that the light was good!”
So, what I am getting at here is the thought and understanding that we carry the DNA of our heavenly Father.
The definition of DNA is that it contains the instructions needed for us to develop, survive and reproduce.
The Apostle Paul puts it this way in 1Corinthians 6:17
“But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him”.
So we can see, from the beginning of creation, the Father has shown Himself to be a God who is love, He is joy! This is what we have in our DNA! This is exciting stuff that we must keep on reminding ourselves of!
Everything that Paul and the other New Testament writers exhort us to excel in, are already in us in seed form. Mankind was not born evil, mankind was born into an inheritance of sin. Jesus came, born of a woman but without sin; grew up and lived on this earth for thirty three and a half years, and was crucified for our sin.
He took our sin on Himself so that sin would no longer have dominion over us! Jesus died on that cross, he was buried in a tomb and on the third day He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
Beloved of God, you are creative, you have the power of God released in you through the Holy Spirit; you have all the characteristics of your heavenly Father in seed form in your “born again” spirit.
To deny that, is to deny your “born again” experience, and that is not advantageous for you to do!
Please church, take the time to meditate on this theme, to pray into it, to allow the Holy Spirit to bring you revelation and understanding of it. IT IS SO IMPORTANT!!
Know that you are loved!
